About this qualification
RIIGOV201E covers complying with site work processes and procedures in the resources and infrastructure industries, for operational roles working under supervision.
It is the least glamorous of Standard 11's six units and arguably the one that does the most work: reading the procedures, understanding your role within them, and modifying what you do when the situation changes.
Element 2 includes modifying roles and responsibilities to meet changing conditions. On a mine site procedures are not static, and the unit expects you to track that rather than follow yesterday's plan.
255 providers — fewer than the other RII foundation units, because it appears in fewer qualifications outside the mining and civil entry sets.
