RIISS00063 contains exactly the same two units as RIISS00056 Traffic Management Designer: preparing traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes, plus RIIRIS402E — the unit mining calls G2. Same units, same 149 providers.

What differs is the gate and the framing. This one carries a hard entry requirement: it “may only be undertaken in addition to” completion of RIISS00060 Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads, or equivalent. RIISS00056 has no entry requirement at all.

It is also written to a standard rather than a job title: designing plans for Temporary Traffic Management Category 1 environments as described in the Austroads guidance. RIISS00056 describes a role, not a road category.
