BSB80120 is Management (Learning) - owning capability and learning across an organisation. BSB80320 is Strategic Leadership - owning direction. Same AQF level, same eight units, different job.

Can I get BSB80320 through RPL?

Often, yes, and candidates at this level usually have substantial evidence. The entry requirements still apply. Whether RPL is offered is decided by each provider.

What does it cost and how long does it take?

About this qualification

BSB80320 is the most senior qualification in this set and the only one with real entry requirements. The register describes individuals who “make high level autonomous decisions” and hold “full responsibility and accountability for personal outputs and for the work or function of others”.

Just two core units — leading strategic transformation, and leading strategic planning processes for an organisation — with six electives. That ratio is the point: at this level the qualification assumes you already have the technical ground and are being assessed on judgement.

Unlike every other qualification on this site, you cannot simply enrol. Entry is limited to people who hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a related field and have three years of relevant full-time workplace experience at a significant level. That gate is why only 99 providers deliver it, against 1,125 for the Diploma of Leadership and Management.
