About this qualification

UEE22025 is the work-entry qualification for the electrotechnology industry — grounding in safety and the basic skills and knowledge for work in any electrotechnology discipline.

It is measured in weighting points, not units. The total is 410 points: 270 core, plus 140 from general electives, with rules about how many may come from Group A versus Group B. Unit counts on a provider's brochure are not the whole story.

CPCWHS1001 — the White Card unit — is core, alongside the energy-sector WHS unit. So a Career Start holder finishes with construction site entry covered.

It is the standard feeder into UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, which is the licensed electrical trade, and into the instrumentation and refrigeration trades beside it.
