About this qualification
CPP51122 is the licensing-level qualification for running an agency rather than working in one. The register frames it around property services principals: compliance, trust accounts, ethics, safety, people, money, and a strategic plan.
The seven core units read like the job description of a principal. Trust account management gets its own unit, which tells you where the regulators focus.
Twelve units: seven core, five elective. Licensing sits with each state, so check what your regulator asks for before enrolling.

Frequently asked questions
- Will this get me a licence?
- Licensing is decided by the property regulator in your state, not by the training package. Most point at this qualification, but each sets its own conditions on top.
- What is the other option in this qualification?
- The register packages two occupational options under the same code. This page covers Agency Management, which is the one most people mean.
- Do I need the Certificate IV first?
- Usually yes in practice, because that is the registration-level qualification for working as an agent, and this one assumes you have been doing the job.
