About this qualification

SHB50216 is aimed at senior managers and owners of personal services businesses — hair, beauty, barbering. The register puts it plainly: coordinating day-to-day operations, and planning, monitoring and evaluating the team's work.

The core is management, not technique. Recruitment and induction, reviewing human resource functions, leading teams, promoting the business, and providing a safe work environment.
