About this qualification
SHB20216 is a preparatory qualification. The register calls the work routine and repetitive, done under direct supervision — shampooing, drying to shape, keeping the tools and the floor in order, greeting clients and taking payment.
That is not a criticism. It is the job that gets you into a salon, and it is the usual way into an apprenticeship.
Twelve units: eight core, four elective.
