About this qualification
FSK10219 is “designed for individuals who need skills to prepare for a vocational pathway qualification or further foundation skills development”.
Core skills pitched primarily at Australian Core Skills Framework Level 2 — one step above FSK10119 — plus entry-level digital technology, employability skills, and education, training and employment goals.
Eleven units, one core: FSKLRG008 Use simple strategies for work-related learning. Compare that with FSK10119’s short and simple strategies and FSK20119’s routine strategies — the single core unit is the ladder in miniature.
The elective rules step up too: up to 3 from Group A, at least 5 from Group B, and 2 from a training package other than FSK, against one at Certificate I Access. More vocational exposure at each rung.
Roles it maps to
FSK10219 prepares people for further training and work rather than for a named occupation.
